The library offers a collection of approximately 30,000 items, including large print, children’s and teen books. Patrons may choose from a selection of more than 800 DVDs (a nominal fee applies) and local newspapers, popular magazines, videos and audio books are available.

Memorials & Tributes
Many celebrations and events invite us to honor a special person—birthdays, anniversaries, anniversaries, graduations and retirements. Give special attention to important times in the lives of the people you care about through a monetary donation toward the purchase of library material to honor a significant person or occasion. In the event of someone’s passing, you can express your sympathy and commemorate a loved one, friend or business associate through our memorial book program. Policies
Membership
Residents of Kittanning, Applewold, and West Kittanning Borough, from whom the library receives at least 1 mill of property tax receipts, enjoy automatic library membership. Resident memberships will be honored at any accessPA library in the state.Non-resident memberships are available for $20.00 per address per year. Any current membership at an Armstrong County library will be honored by all four county public libraries.
Lending
All library materials except reference materials and rentals may be borrowed for two weeks. New fiction and DVDs are borrowed on a rental basis at the rate of 20¢ per day.Overdue fine rate is 10¢ per item per day, for each day the library is open. Payment of fines is expected at the time of return. Books not available from the library’s collection may be available from another library within the state. Some restrictions may apply, see librarian for details.
